Tacuba s/n, Col. Centro. 06000
This square emerged after the demolition of the Hospital of San Andrés, in fact the square is one of the last works of Porfirio Díaz, who decided that this place would serve as a tribute to the outstanding Valencia architect based in Mexico, Manuel Tolsa.
The square is surrounded by emblem buildings like the Palacio de la Secretaría de Comunicaciones y Obras Públicas, now the National Museum of Arts, the Maroni building, the Palace of Mines and others building.
The central part is complemented by one of the masterpieces of Tolsá: the equestrian statue of Carlos IV "El Caballito".
