Asado del Valle Maricopa

The house. Asado del Valle is a Uruguayan grill with several branches across the city. The recommendation is always the same: arrachera, beef empanadas, tropical salad and chivito al pan, the Uruguayan national sandwich with steak, ham, cheese, egg and vegetables.

This branch. On calle Maricopa, one block from the World Trade Center, in an old-looking building that gives it a more intimate feel than the rest of the chain — which is why it has become a frequent choice for couples' dinners in an area that is otherwise all offices.

Getting there and when. The Insurgentes Metrobús stops a few streets away and Metro San Antonio is not far; there is parking in the area. Open Monday to Saturday 14:00 to 23:00, Sundays until 20:00. During trade fairs and congresses at the WTC the whole district fills at lunchtime.
