Somos Mexas

Somos Mexas is a collective formed by Mexicans interested in architectural design, art and action in urban space, in order to enrich these practices culturally and socially and reflect those around them. The idea is to add to the dialogue to locals and other sectors of society.

This group has put its ideas into practice and held temporary exhibitions in ATEA (Art/Workshop/Studio/Architecture) which can be found in a cellar in the neighborhood of la Merced. In the car park, the walls are decorated by urban artists, the first floor is a gallery and workshop and on the rooftop urban gardens are made, music is played and movies are screened.
