This edition has finished. The page covers the 26th National Children's and Youth Drawing and Painting Competition, whose exhibition was shown at the Complejo Cultural Los Pinos, in the first section of the Bosque de Chapultepec. That edition is over.
What the competition is. A national open competition for children and young people, run annually by the federal culture authorities, which ends in an exhibition of the winning and selected works. Each edition is numbered, so the call for entries and the show move on to the next one; the competition itself continues.
How to find the current edition. Calls for entries are published by the Secretaría de Cultura and the participating institutions, normally with several months between the deadline and the exhibition. The venue's own phone number on this page is the quickest way to ask what is on now.
Visiting the venue. Los Pinos, the former presidential residence, has been open to the public as a cultural complex since 2018: free entry, extensive gardens, and a programme of exhibitions that changes through the year. Parque Lira s/n, first section of Chapultepec; Metro Constituyentes, line 7, is the nearest station. It closes on Mondays.
