This exhibition has closed. Opus was shown at the Complejo Cultural Los Pinos, in the first section of the Bosque de Chapultepec, and is no longer on display.
What Los Pinos is. The official residence of Mexican presidents from 1934 to 2018, opened to the public as a cultural complex on 1 December 2018. You can walk through the former residence, the Casa Miguel Alemán and the Casa Lázaro Cárdenas, and across grounds of several hectares inside Chapultepec.
What is there now. Admission is free and the programme changes through the year: temporary exhibitions in the pavilions, concerts, open-air film screenings and workshops. The gardens alone justify an afternoon, and the sense of walking through a residence that was closed to the public for eighty-four years is the point of the place.
Getting there. Parque Lira s/n, first section of Chapultepec. Metro Constituyentes, line 7, is the nearest station, and the entrance is a walk from there. Closed on Mondays. Check what is on before travelling for a specific exhibition.
